JJ Song
Vice President, Korea
JJ Song is Vice President of Pacnet for Korea, a position he held with Asia Global Crossing since in April 2002. Song is leading the effort to build and expand Pacnet’s presence in Korea. Mr. Song also has the responsibility for overall operations, business development, sales, product management, and marketing in the country.
Prior to joining Pacnet, Mr. Song was General Manager at MCIWorldCom Korea, where he succeeded in nearly quadrupling revenue in less than three years and established the WorldCom brand as a market leader in the country. Mr. Song also served as sales director at Hong Kong Telecom Korea with responsibilities for sales and marketing. In addition, he served as global account manager for the Cable & Wireless group. Previously, Mr. Song held a number of sales and marketing roles in Samsung SDS, Hitel and Dacom.
Mr. Song was recognized for his excellent achievements by MCIWorldCom Asia-Pacific with its President Club award in 2000. Mr. Song also earned the best salesman of the year title at Dacom in 1991. Mr. Song has an MBA and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yonsei University.
