Alice Ting
General Manager, Hong Kong
Alice Ting is Pacnet's General Manager for Hong Kong. Prior to joining Pacnet, Ms. Ting was Sales Director for Greater China at British Telecom (BT). Since joining BT in 2002, Ms. Ting played a significant role in transforming the company's Hong Kong sales team into a solutions-focused sales force that achieved revenue growth of more than 20% year over year.
With more than 18 years of telecom experience, Ms. Ting also served as Regional Director of Carrier Sales for Qwest Asia. Prior to Qwest, Ms. Ting was head of Strategic Sales for Level (3) Communications where she was the company's top achiever during the final quarter of 2001. Her extensive telecom experience also includes sales management roles at Hutchison INET Hong Kong and BT North America/Concert. Since she first stepped into the industry as a Sales Engineer for Nortel in 1988, she progressively built a solid track record in selling to multinational corporations and carriers on a broad range of telecom products and services.
Ms. Ting received her bachelor of Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
